Kazumasa ENAMI, Auditor

Kazumasa Enami assumed the position of auditor at Tokyo Tech in 2014.

Enami earned his bachelor's degree in engineering from Tokyo Tech in 1971, and in the same year, began work as an engineer in the Kanazawa branch of Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK). In 1989, he earned his doctoral degree in engineering from Tokyo Tech while he was with NHK, and in 1994 became director of the Advanced Program Production Technology Research Division in the corporation's Science and Technical Research Laboratories. Enami was named vice director general of NHK's Digital Broadcasting Development of the Corporate Planning Bureau in 2002, and then director general of the Science and Technical Research Laboratories in 2004.

In 2006, Enami was appointed director of the Universal Media Research Center in the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT). Two years later he became director general of NICT's Keihanna Research Laboratories. He was named vice president for research at NICT in 2010, and then vice director general at the institute's Center for Information and Neural Networks in 2013.
