Following yesterday, again we have many visitors attending the Tokyo Tech Festival here at Ookayama Campus.

On the wooden decking, people gather at flea markets, students’ performances and many children are joining the stamp rally conducted by laboratories.

Various academic events are scheduled and we have concerts and art exhibitions that help show the multifaceted character of Tokyo Tech.

Many people attended the briefing session of the School of Science and the School of Bioscience and Biotechnology, with the participants listening to the guidance keenly. At the same time, a lecture was held for female high school students and many students joined the question-and-answer session.

More guests attended the Tokyo Tech Festival and Open Campus this afternoon.   
Many people attended the food and other booths, and at lunchtime a long cue had formed in front of some of the carnival booths.
The games and performances of sports, music and entertainment attracted large audiences.

The afternoon briefing session of the School of Engineering also ended on a high note.
An individual guidance booth was located at the first floor of the Centennial Hall and many prospective students were receiving advice.

Tokyo Tech Festival and Open Campus will be held until October 23.

 Tokyo Tech Festival and Open Campus  Oct.22 a.m.


 

Today, October 22 (Sat), Tokyo Institute of Technology is crowded with visitors, as it hosts the “Tokyo Tech Festival and Open Campus” at its Ookayama Campus.



This morning a briefing session of the School of Engineering was held in the Auditorium and the 600 capacity hall was filled.  The briefing session will be held again this afternoon at Kuramae Hall in Tokyo Tech Front, and we await your visit.  The reception will start from 1:30p.m. Please be aware that the site will not be the same as the morning session.

Many people are attending the exhibitions and participatory events.
Today, a lecture by Mr. Hiroki Ueda from RIKEN will be held in the Multi-purpose Digital Hall, West Building 9, from 1:30 p.m. Mr. Ueda appeared on the NHK TV program “Professional”, and is known as a new leader in the field of Systems Biology.
