While globalization of society is accelerated, the Japanese government is formulating a variety of policy measures to overcome population decline and economy deterioration in local areas.

AGL presents a special lecture, "Local strategy for strengthening local money circulation in global society" by Elizabeth Cox, an economist from the New Economic Foundation (NEF) in London as part of the "Fundamentals of Humanities 2" course. The lecture is open to public. Simultaneous interpretation in Japanese and English will be provided.
