Exchange Programs

Tokyo Tech has concluded numerous academic cooperation agreements with universities around the world. Many of these agreements include tuition waiver programs that allow Tokyo Tech graduate students to study at a partner university for a semester or a period of up to one year while enrolled at Tokyo Tech. Both Tokyo Tech and the partner university receive and dispatch a designated number of students according to the particular agreement. Students are exempt from paying tuition at the partner university, because they pay tuition at their home university. The exchange programs are designed to boost linguistic proficiency as well as provide opportunities to attend classes in the student's area of expertise and receive academic guidance from faculty at the partner university.
