Updated March 1, 2022

Japanese government announced to resume entry of foreign nationals to Japan starting March 1, 2022. As number of foreign nationals allowed to enter Japan is limited to 5,000 per day, we will begin processing applications for those students with earlier Certificate of Eligibility (COE) issuance dates.

After entry to Japan, host institutions are required to supervise students' activities during the quarantine period. Therefore, after entry, students are asked to stay at accommodation reserved by the travel agencies designated by the university. We will contact you as soon as we are ready to proceed so we appreciate your continued patience and understanding.

Please note that all communications from the Institute will be sent to the Tokyo Tech email address (@m.titech.ac.jp).

* When making inquiries, please include your student ID number, name, and COE issue date in the email.

※The Immigration Services Agency of Japan announced on March 1, 2022 the new policy regarding the period of validity of the certificate of eligibility.(added on March 1, 2022)
