Bringing Ideas in Remote Discussion (BIRD) ꟷ virtual exchange program (AY 2022)

Join students from Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech) and The University of Melbourne in a virtual exchange program: Bringing Ideas in Remote Discussion (BIRD). Organized for AY 2022/23 around the theme of Technology for Sustainable Food, the program will include an introductory session, lectures, team project, cultural activity and final presentations. Eligibility	B2, B3, or B4 Tokyo Tech students
Participants	Maximum 20 in total, including up to 10 from the University of Melbourne
Program outline	[Pre-program activities] Teamwork preparation (100 min. x 2 lectures) *Dates TBA [Program Contents] Lectures on technology for sustainable food (100 min. x 3 lectures) Site visit to a company (100 min. x 1 session) Introductory session and cultural activity Collaboration around the program theme (100 min. × 6 sessions) Final presentations

Application Deadline	November 7, 2022
Notification	Applicants will be notified of the results of the document screening by November 14, 2022. An interview will then be conducted and the final results will be notified to applicants by the end of November 2022.
