The Ceremony for Startup Companies from Tokyo Institute of Technology

The ceremony for awarding the certificates on recognizing startup companies from Tokyo Institute of Technology("Tokyo Tech") was held on June 27th at the President's office. The representatives from three companies, SolarFlame Corporation, Hasegawa Research Laboratory, j-Scheme LLC, which received the recognition since 2012, took part in the ceremony. Tokyo Tech has rules on recognizing startup companies that apply human capital or the results of research from Tokyo Tech. As of July 1st, 2013, sixty eight companies were recognized as a "Startup Company from Tokyo Institute of Technology". Several companies start up their business applying technologies acquired and research results achieved at Tokyo Tech every year.
