Graduation ceremonies for academic year 2014 were held on March 26 at the Ookayama Campus.
The ceremony for undergraduate students started at 11 a.m. and the one for graduate students at 2 p.m. Graduating students and their families were joined at the ceremonies by President Yoshinao Mishima, guests, members of the Board, deans and other faculty members.

In his speech, President offered his congratulations and the following words of encouragement: "Take on challenges with confidence. Strive to acquire a wide range of abilities and skills including broad knowledge, flexible thinking, and cooperativeness. Work with talented young people in the global arena, and create and protect a sustainable society. I hope you will contribute to building a peaceful world full of happiness."

President Hisao Taki (Class of 1962, Department of Mechanical Engineering) of the Tokyo Tech Alumni Association and Founder and Chairman of Gurunavi, Inc. also delivered a speech.
Conferral of Degrees
At the undergraduate ceremony, one representative from each department received a diploma. At the ceremony for students of master's and professional programs, representatives of each department received diplomas. All doctoral degree students who completed their programs received diplomas. In the 2014 academic year, 219 doctoral degrees, 1,480 master's degrees, 31 professional master's degrees, and 1,110 bachelor's degrees were conferred.

After the ceremonies finished, graduates celebrated on this pleasant spring day by taking pictures in front of the Main Building with families and friends.
The Tokyo Tech community wishes its graduates continued health and success.
