Asahi Shimbun Publications Inc. recently released a special edition AERA magazine featuring stories on 16 Japanese national and public universities. Aimed at young adults, the publication examines Tokyo Tech and other higher education institutions from various perspectives including education and research, internationalization, and campus life.
In the section on Tokyo Tech, three students with different backgrounds discuss with President Yoshinao Mishima the new education system, studying abroad, and other highlights of the Institute.
The feature also includes introductions to two innovative products from Tokyo Tech startups — EMARO, a pneumatic endoscope manipulator created by Riverfield Inc., and a thin, lightweight artificial muscle from s-muscle Co. Ltd.
