In accordance with Article 8 of the National University Corporation Tokyo Institute of Technology Regulations on Selection of Presidential Candidates and Removal of President (decided at the President Nomination Committee Meeting on September 3, 2004), the Committee made a public announcement on the selection of candidates for the next presidency and called for nominations and applications to be made between July 3 and July 21, 2017.
In response to the call, the Committee has received a total of two nominations and applications, and following the assessment at the Committee meeting, two individuals have been selected as presidential candidates. Please see the information below.
