Minamishinagawa House, a new dormitory for male Tokyo Tech students, will open in central Tokyo in April 2018.
The new facility is located in a peaceful yet practical area just a short walk away from Oimachi station. Access to three train lines ensures smooth transportation to all Tokyo Tech campuses and other locations around the city. Commute time is approximately 20 minutes to Tamachi Campus, 30 minutes to Ookayama Campus, and 90 minutes to Suzukakedai Campus.
Minamishinagawa House, made up of 55 units housing three tenants each, can accommodate 165 domestic and international students. Each unit consist of three private bedrooms and a shared living room, kitchen, shower, toilet, and laundry facilities.
In the past year, Tokyo Tech has opened three new dormitories, each providing safe, clean, convenient living quarters for its students. The Institute aims to continue creating new facilities to ensure a socially and academically stimulating environment for all men and women who come to study at Tokyo Tech.
