A leaflet outlining the activities of the Quantum Computing Unit, the latest Research Unit to be established within the Institute of Innovative Research (IIR), is now available online. The unit was founded in July 2018 under the leadership of Professor Hidetoshi Nishimori.

Since the establishment of IIR in 2016, Tokyo Tech has set up 13 Research Units within IIR to conduct cutting-edge research in small teams led by prominent scientists. Eleven of these are currently active, with the former Cell Biology Unit now functioning as the Cell Biology Centerouter.

Leaflets describing the features and goals of each of the Research Units are available for download below in both English and Japanese.
