After the introduction of the Board of Directors, deans, and other special guests, Dean Yuji Wada of the School of Materials and Chemical Technology spoke on behalf of the deans and directors. He invited all students to utilize technology and a deeper understanding of people and society to help solve some of the world's most pressing problems.
