President Masu shares congratulatory remarks

President Kazuya Masu and Senior Aide to the Executive Vice President for Education Jun-ichi Takada attended the 90th Anniversary Celebration of Tokyo Tech partner National Taiwan University (NTU, Taiwan) on November 15, 2018.

Giving remarks at the event's evening reception, Masu commented, "In the twenty or so years of collaborations between Tokyo Tech and NTU, Taiwan, we have worked closely to promote academic and research cooperation in various areas. And, based on our shared understanding and appreciation of education and research that contributes to society, we at Tokyo Tech look forward to continuing this cooperation with NTU, Taiwan and to working together with you to contribute to a better future in Asia and the world."

The following day, Masu and Takada met with 40 members of the Taiwan Tokyo Tech Alumni Association, a group which includes researchers, university faculty members, industry executives, and patent attorneys. Masu's presentation about recent initiatives at Tokyo Tech was warmly received by the alumni, who expressed appreciation for the opportunity to meet with the president and Takada in Taiwan. Many shared stories about their days on Tokyo Tech's Ookayama and Suzukakedai Campuses.
