Tokyo Tech held its annual Open Campus day in Ookayama on August 10. Despite the summer heat, approximately 15,000 prospective students and guardians arrived to experience the Institute’s facilities and get a taste of the Tokyo Tech atmosphere.
Many arrived soon after the main gate opened at 9 a.m. The official schedule, which included over 200 events, kicked off an hour later. The entrance examination info sessions, individual consultation booths, mock lectures, hands-on experiments, campus tours, and open labs were all popular, but it was the opportunity to engage with Tokyo Tech faculty and students that created the real buzz!
