Tokyo Institute of Technology operates the Ookayama Library and the Suzukakedai Library. These Institute libraries are archives for materials centered on the field of science and engineering, and support the studies and research of Institute students, faculty and administration staff. Approximately 800,000 books are held in their collection. The libraries are also designated as National Centers for Overseas Periodicals by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and boast one of the largest collections of overseas periodicals in the field of science and engineering in the country. Individual researchers may apply to use the libraries when collecting information for their own inquiries and research.

People wishing to visit the Ookayama Library just for looking around the facilities are required to make reservations in advance.
Reservations for groups and individuals are currently being accepted.
