1. Graduate Schools and Departments
Tokyo Institute of Technology has six Graduate Schools:
Graduate School of Science and Engineering,
Graduate School of Bioscience and Biotechnology,
Graduate School of Information Science and Engineering,
Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Science and Engineering.
Graduate School of Decision Science and Technology.
Graduate School of Innovation Management.
Each of these Graduate Schools has both Master (Pre-Doctoral) Program and Doctoral Program, and
are supported by constituent Departments.
There are 6 Special Programs (in 2007 Program) as below depending on the fields of research. These Programs are supported respectively by the Departments relating with the field as indicated.

Students of the International Graduate Course officially belongs to one of the above 5 Graduate Schools.
Academic Advisor(s) of the belonged Department will be assigned to each student of the Graduate School at the time of entrance.
Academic Advisor(s) can be changed later by a petition depending on the student’s circumstances.
In this case, a complete request form with approvals of Academic Advisor(s) and the Head of the Department must be submitted to the Student Affairs Section (Form 1).
