◆ Japanese Language Programs at International Graduate School
1 Japanese classes
The International Graduate School offers Japanese classes at various levels, from beginner to advanced, so anyone can find a class suitable for his/her level. Please check the schedule and venue for each class. Many classes are offered on Wednesday afternoon, but not all. There are classes with differing content at each level, so make sure you carefully read the descriptions and select the class which suits you best. After you have decided to join a class, you have to submit your name to both the Administration Office of International Graduate Courses and the Hoko website of the International Student Center(ISC; http://www.ryu.titech.ac.jp/ ).
If you have any questions, contact Prof. Nishina: ext. 3373 or knishina@ryu.titech.ac.jp
2 Proficiency level
You need to select a class/classes which best matches your proficiency level. If you are an absolute beginner or want to revise very basic Japanese, select J1. Otherwise look at the following chart to work out which level you belong to. If you need some advice, please contact Prof. Nishina.
