Published: March 1, 2024

We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for "Try Virtual Line Tracing: Introduction to Systems and Control Engineering"! Any Tokyo Tech student, faculty, or staff member can take the course using MATLAB Online. Enjoy line tracing, the basis of automated driving, through MATLAB simulation experience and viewing virtual experiments. MATLAB TAs will assist you with any questions you may have.

Lane keeping is a basic technology for autonomous driving. What engineering techniques are needed to achieve this? Here, you will discover the fun and excitement of "sensing" and "feedback control" by challenging virtual experiments and simulations of line tracing (controlling a robot to move automatically along a drawn line) of a LEGO robot.

MATLAB Online used in this course is available free of charge to Tokyo Tech students, faculty, and staff. Please note, the course will be open only to Tokyo Tech students, faculty, and staff for free, but not to the public.

An edX Edge account is required to attend. If you do not have an account, please create it from the link below first.
