The aim of study tour

The aim of the field trip is for the students to get to know each other better while learning about Japanese culture, history, industry and so on.The participants are scheduled to visit some temples and historic streets.

Wednesday, February 14 to Friday, February 16, 2018

Schedule

Day1 Shinagawa-sta.(8:00gathering), Todai-temple/Big Buddha/Nara park,Inn(NARA)
Day2 Kiyomizu-temple, Nijo-castle/free time,Watching Maiko Dancing,Inn(KYOTO)
Day3 Kinkaku-temple,Tenryu-temple/bamboo-pass/Katsura-river,Togetsu-kyo,Shinagawa-sta.(20:00)

Travel Cost

15,000yen (The amount is not refundable in the case of cancellation.)
The cost breakdown:1. Transportation (Shinkansen and charter bus in Nara and Kyoto),2. Accommodation,3. Meal (two breakfasts one lunch and two dinners).
*1st day lunch,free time transportation and admission fee are not included.

Eligible International Students

Priority is given to regular international students or research students,
especially those who enrolled in fiscal 2016 and 2017.

The results of the lottery

*If the number of applications exceeds 68, the seats will be awarded by lottery system.
The results of the lottery will be informed by email.



Method of Payment of Fee

The selected students have to pay a part of the travel fee (15,000 yen) by Jan.12,2018 (at 16:00). We will announce the payment procedure at the URL mentioned above.
*The entry will be settled when transfer of participation fee is completed.


Other

In principle, the travel fee of 15,000 yen is not refundable. Please be sure to apply for this tour after confirming you can join all days.
