2019 Fall Semester Special Medical Screening for Students

The Special Medical Screening for Students who engage in handling ionizing radiation, organic solvents and specified chemical substances will be held according to the schedule below. Students who are eligible ionizing radiation must take this screening which is mandated by the Law concerning Control of Radioisotopes, etc.

Detailed information will be sent separately to the academic supervisors who submitted the Operation Survey Sheet in July.


1.Students required to take the Screening

  Bachelor's degree students who belong to a laboratory, master's and doctoral degree students including RAs

  and TAs, and research students who are/will be engaged in handling ionizing radiation (categorized under

  A or B of the initial educational program), organic solvents and specified chemical substances etc.

  Be sure to check with your academic supervisor to determine whether or not you must take the screening.


2.Dates and times:

  Ookayama Campus:

     From the afternoon of Tuesday, October 15 to Friday, October 18, 2019

      9:30-11:30 am and 1:00-4:00 pm (Reception Times)

  Suzukakedai Campus:

     From Wednesday, October 2 to Friday, October 4, 2019

      9:30-11:30 am and 1:00-3:30 pm (Reception Times)


3.Locations

  Ookayama Campus: Media Hall and Collaboration Room, West Building 9, Floor 2

  Suzukakedai Campus: G4 Building, Floor 1


4. The Special Medical Screening Items:

  Blood test, urine test, chest X-ray examination, doctor's health interview and other necessary check

  (The screening items are selected based on the materials being handled).
