International Presentation Competition Country: Yours and Mine

Welcome to the "International Presentation Competition"!

In this event , one team consisting of a international student and a Japanese student compete with other pairs. International students make speech using Japanese, and Japanese students make speech using English. They are judged how you speak the language and which speech is interesting.

You have been learning Japanese or English in Tokyo Institution of Technology , so don't you want to challenge this competition and test your language skill?

10 pairs, 20 participants

If participants are a lot, we'll conduct draft judge.

Qualification
-

Japanese students

Basically, bachelor, Master, Doctor, and research students who are Japanese.

International students

Basically, bachelor, Master, Doctor, and research students whose native language is not Japanese.

How to make a presentation

Only oral speaking(If you necessary, you can use up to slides)

Your team has 5 minutes(Don't be too much or too short. Your score will decrease) for speech, and 5 minutes for Q&A. You and your partner need to decide your part in the presentation(former or latter). Japanese students have to present in English. International students have to present in Japanese.

  • The best work 10,000 yen(1 pairs, 2 persons)
  • The excellent works 5,000 yen(2 pairs, 4 persons)
  • Prize for participation(except the best and excellent works) 1,000 yen(7 pairs, 14 persons)
