The Tokyo Tech Festival is back to Ookayama Campus. A two-day event attracts upward of 50,000 Tokyo Tech students, prospective applicants and local residents every year. In 2022, the festival will be held in person at the campus, making the two days of the festival the most vibrant of the year for Tokyo Tech.
Saturday, October 29 - Sunday, October 30, 2022
Ookayama Campus, Tokyo Institute of Technology
Pre-registration is required at Tokyo Tech Festival website (Japanese). Reservations will open on Saturday, October 15 at 10:00 a.m. (first-come, first-served basis)
The theme of the festival 2022 is "Sunrise."
The Tokyo Tech Festival could not be held on-site for three years running, due to a typhoon and then the COVID-19 pandemic. Most Tokyo Tech undergraduate students have never experienced an on-site, in-person festival.
By finally holding the Tokyo Tech Festival on-site again, vibrancy will be brought back to Ookayama Campus, which has been quiet like a long night. It will be like greeting a new dawn. That is why the theme of the Festival 2022 is "Sunrise".
