While many innovations have been born in the world based on the seeds of research and development generated in academia, and many mega ventures have been successful in business, in Japan there are still many issues to be solved in connecting academia and business. In response to this situation, the Tokyo Institute of Technology, premier science and engineering university in Japan, will hold one of the largest industry-academia collaboration events at Tokyo Tech to discuss the ideal next-generation industry-academia collaboration platform to build an ecosystem that links various groundbreaking research seeds and business and generates innovation centered on academia.
