In this event, after a brief explanation of Rakugo by the lecturer, participants will listen to several kinds of Rakugo in English. Between the Rakugo performances, there will be some "iromono" (forms of entertainment different from the main acts such as music and authentic street performances), which will make you feel as if you are actually in a "Yose" (a Japanese-style theatre).

For international students who have never tried rakugo before, this event will be a great opportunity to learn about traditional Japanese culture, and for Japanese students, it will be a valuable chance to experience rakugo from a different point of view!

International students who are interested in the traditional Japanese culture of Rakugo, as well as Japanese students who would like to enjoy Rakugo from a different perspective, are welcome. Please feel free to invite your friends and family, and bring them with you. We are looking forward to your registration.
