【Call for Applications】Intercultural Exchange through Gardening

To promote cultural exchange on campus, a gardening event will be held by International Student Exchange Division. Let’s decorate Ookayama Campus with flowers! All who are interested in cultural exchange or growing flowers are welcome!

Date & time	Tuesday, November 9, 2021, 12:30-13:30
Venue	West Bldg.1, Ookayama Campus
Eligibility	Tokyo Tech students who expect to remain enrolled at the Institute in May 2022*
Languages	Japanese, English
Fee	Free of charge
Activity	In pairs, participants will plant tulip bulbs in planters in front of West Building 1. Subsequently, each pair will observe and share updates on their plants’ growth via SNS, etc. Regarding daily care, such as watering, please consult with our staff. *A subsequent event may be held next spring when the tulips will be in full bloom.
Application	Please apply through one of the following methods: 1) Pair application Pair up with a Tokyo Tech student who speaks a different language (e.g., Japanese speaker and English speaker) and complete the application form with both applicants’ information. 2) Individual application Complete the application form with your information. A partner will be assigned to you.
Capacity	20 students (First-come, first-served basis)
Deadline	Applications will be closed when capacity is reached. (Final deadline: Wednesday, October 27, 2021)
