In the high jump, Tokyo Tech monopolized the podium. Club captain Takumi Kobayashi, 3rd-year undergraduate student from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, won both the triple jump and high jump.
Two Tokyo Tech athletes also set meet records. Yuya Nagashima, a 2nd-year student from the Department of Mechanical and Intelligent Systems Engineering, recorded a new fastest time in the 110-meter hurdles. Masaki Matsui, a 4th-year student from the Department of Mechano-Aerospace Engineering, is now the man to beat in the 1,500 meters.
It was another great day for Tokyo Tech athletics.
