Comments from club captain Yutaro Shigehara
3rd year, Earth and planetary sciences

I must admit I was surprised when we were announced the group winners of this competition. We were able to hold back a lot of strong teams from around the Kanto-Koshinetsu region. Of course a lot of credit is due to the strong performers, but I would also like to thank those who came to support us. They gave us that extra push. There are still competitions left this academic year, so we won't take this victory for granted, and will continue to practice hard.
