Regarding the recent threat to bomb buildings on Tokyo Tech campuses at 12:08 p.m. on Monday, August 24, the Institute is pleased to inform all stakeholders that no explosions or damage occurred at this time.
In cooperation with the police, the Institute conducted patrols but found no suspicious items or persons on its campuses. As a result, the prohibition to enter Tokyo Tech campuses due to this incident has been lifted.
The Institute remains vigilant and in close contact with the local authorities, and will take appropriate measures to deal with this matter.
