"Community & Work Lounge" for Students and Faculty with Food Shop Open in Basement of Main Building

The former Co-op Shop in the basement of the Main Building has been renovated, and a new activity space with food and beverages for students and faculty members is now open. A Co-op Food Shop will be attached to the space, which can be used for breaks and meals between classes and research.

Students can also bring in trays from the Co-op Cafeteria for their meals. Breads and boxed lunches purchased at the food store or brought in by students are also available. Please note that there will be a meal priority period (11:00 - 14:00), so please refrain from using the space for anything other than meals during this time.

After 2:00 p.m., up to half of the space will be reserved for seminars and events, with service to begin in mid-April. Reservations will be accepted on the website and will be announced again. Projectors and screens will also be available for rent.
For the time being, Corona Disaster will operate with approximately half the number of seats (36 tables with 72 seats on the floor and 30 seats at the counter). Please make full use of the space while cooperating to prevent infection.

Tokyo Tech Co-op will sell freshly baked bread for the first time. A coffee machine will be installed and stationery will also be sold.
