The topic is " HUMAN BEING IN SPACE”

The Human Being and Space cannot be separated, we rest and move in space. It is not just a fundamental condition of our existence, it is also a prominent topic in the arts. How do artists perceive and express this human condition? With examples of Western paintings from different centuries we will explore the complexity and changes in the interaction of human being and space. The purpose of this workshop is to gain new knowledge and inspiration through the arts, and to find one’s own individual creative ways of expression.

Zuse Meyer will be the lecturer for the seminar. She graduated from Berlin National University of the Art, and currently is conducting art creation activities based in both Berlin and Tokyo.

We are looking forward to the active participation of Tokyo Tech students who are interested in art and creation.
