TECH Cooking Studio 2023 ~Ozoni from all over Japan~

When you hear the word of "ozoni", what flavors and ingredients come to mind?

In this event, we will invite Ms. Hiroko Kasuya, an ozoni researcher, to give an interesting talk about ozoni, followed by an actual tasting in the cafeteria.

There is only one month left in this year, so we would like to focus on "ozouni",one of the traditional Japanese cuisines during the year-end and New Year holidays. Since being registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2013, Japanese cuisines continue attracting recognition from all over the world.

For many international students, there are not many opportunities to eat ozouni, which is a home-style New Year's dish. Also, most Japanese students usually eat only their own family's ozouni, so this is a great opportunity to learn about the ozouni of other families and experience the diversity of Japanese food culture! In this process, you may discover the facts of ozouni that you have never noticed before, and literally "rediscover ozoni"!
