2024 Spring Special Medical Screening for Students

The special medical screening for ionizing radiation exposure is mandated by the law concerning prevention from radiation hazards due to radio-isotopes, etc. Students engaged in handling ionizing radiation must take the special medical screening, which will be conducted as follows. Book online in advance and come to the venu on time. The special medical screening card for preregistered students will be sent to academic supervisors in early April.

Who are required to take the screening?

Bachelor’s degree students who belong to a laboratory, master’s and doctoral degree students including RAs and TAs, and research students who are/will be engaged in handling ionizing radiation (categorized under A or B of the initial education and training).

Online booking(Starting from 3, April 2024)

  • Advance online booking is required to take the medical screening. You may not be able to take it without booking.
  • Book a time slot of your affiliated campus.
  • The password required for booking is sent to academic supervisors by notice letter and email.
  • For any inquiries, contact the Health Support Center.
