Published: August 28, 2024

The Student Support Center's Student Success Support Section will host its 11th Evening Seminar- an electronically assisted astronomy observation session on Thursday, September 12. By utilizing a refracting telescope, we hope to share the experience of observing nebulae and star clusters that are difficult to see with the naked eye from urban areas.

In this session, we plan on:
・observing nebulae, star clusters, and galaxies
・observing the moon, Saturn, Jupiter, and Neptune
・explaining how a telescope works
・explaining facts about the celestial bodies we may see

*For those who use glasses/contact lenses, we highly recommend you to bring them in order to fully enjoy the activities.
