Two women claiming to be international students have been soliciting for religious services on and off the Ookayama campus.
The women would approach students and faculty members, asking them to join them in practicing their Japanese, and while answering their questions, they would try to obtain personal information or invite them to a nearby church.

The most effective countermeasure if you encounter a religious solicitation is to avoid giving out personal information such as your name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address easily.
If you feel suspicious, take action as soon as possible by firmly and clearly rejecting the proposal.
Also, clearly decline invitations to study groups or lectures where the organizer or speaker is not clear.

If you see this incident or if you have been the victim of such an attack, please contact Campus Security Center (03-5734-3119) or Student Support Division (03-5734-3011) immediately.
