Course Outline

Learn the basics of programming with Shogi×MATLAB! This is an introductory course on programming, taught by Professor Atsushi Takahashi, School of Engineering, and MATLAB TA. The basics rules of Shogi are explained in the course, so learners who have no experience with Shogi can begin from the start. Don't worry even if you don't have MATLAB access - enrolled learners are provided MATLAB license for the duration of the course (5+weeks).

Duration of the Course

Both courses are self-paced.
Estimated duration of the course is five weeks. Depending on your pace, you can finish the course in less time. Estimated study hours are as follows:

  • "Introduction to the Super Smart Society" : 1 - 2 hours per week
