Published: October 13, 2021

This is an announcement of the subject ToTAL/OPEN program* "Interactive art appreciation and universal design (Series of 2 classes)" that is a part of "Fundamental Group Work for Leadership I/II (F)" of ToTAL course. Based on the Visual Thinking Strategies developed by the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), New York, this class fosters collaborative, inclusive, community-building dialogue by students by exchanging each other's observations of the art pieces. This year, we will invite a wheelchair user as a guest in Session 1 to share the perspectives of people with disabilities. In Session 2, we will introduce products and services that originated in the field of welfare and are now in general use, and learn about the possibilities of social innovation through universal design.
