Changes to learning environment after tuition increase published in Financial Data Book 2021

Annual tuition at Tokyo Tech for bachelor-level students enrolling in or after April 2019 and master's, professional master's, and doctoral students enrolling in or after September 2019 has increased from the previous 535,800 yen to 635,400 yen. To realize fully the unique Tokyo Tech model of education, the Institute has continuously strived to enhance the learning environment and curricula for all students, including boosting study abroad opportunities and other international exchanges and initiatives. More than two years have passed since the tuition increase, and information on how the learning environment has been enhanced is now summarized in the Financial Data Book 2021 released in November 2021.

Also in the book, we have released information on additional financial support for students, including the establishment of a new scholarship system funded by Institute income such as donations and revenue from joint activities between the Institute and companies.
