This is an announcement of the subject ToTAL/OPEN program* "Future Foresight Workshop – Regional Infrastructure - (Series of 5 classes)" that is a part of "Recognition of Social Issues Workshop B/D" of ToTAL course.

"Future Foresight" is widely used in Europe and the United States as a methodoly for future prediction and uncertainty management in recent VUCA era and is being used by private companies, government and local governments as a methodology for innovation together with "Design Thinking". "Future Foresight" is using various kinds of tool for thinking including "creative bias breaking" and "reframing (redefining issues)" ; critically thinking about existing views (common sense). In addition, this workshop will use methods of horizon scanning that capture the signs of uncertain change, and forced thinking, you will be able to expect to increase number of your "drawers" for thinking.

ToTAL/OPEN Program

Following ToTAL courses, originally designed for ToTAL students, are offered to non-ToTAL students as "ToTAL/OPEN Programs". Graduate "non-ToTAL" students can apply to these courses (credits and GA will be granted), and both of graduate or undergraduate "non-ToTAL" students can join contents (workshops) on ad-hoc basis (credits will not be granted) as well.
