【Suspension of in-person services for students】

Tokyo Tech currently does not allow students to come to campus to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus and protect the wellbeing of the entire Tokyo Tech community. As a rule, faculty and staff members are also not permitted to work on campus. We are therefore extending the suspension of in-person services for students as follows.
Please contact us by email, as telephone calls will not be answered until May 10. While some services will be provided by email, please understand that there may be delays in replying to your requests or inquiries.

Period: From Monday, April 6 to Sunday, May 10
In-person services temporarily unavailable: Student Division on Ookayama and Suzukakedai Campuses, Student Support Division on Ookayama and Suzukakedai Campuses, International Student Exchange Division, Admissions Division

All services handled by the Student Division are temporarily unavailable over the counter.

  •  Receiving diplomas will be possible after the period of suspension ends.
  •  Student ID cards for new students:
        Bachelor’s students and transfer students: Cards will be sent to students on or after Monday, April 13.

  •  Receiving reissued student ID cards Reissued cards can be sent by postal mail. Applicants will be notified of the details.

Certificates
Automated certificate issuance machines will also be suspended due to campus restrictions. Certificates cannot be sent by email or postal mail, or issued over the counter.
  Issuance of certificates suspended: From Saturday, April 11 to Sunday, May 10


We will do our best to provide necessary support services for newly enrolled undergraduates by email. Your cooperation and understanding is greatly appreciated.
