TO: All Students
FROM: Tetsuya Mizumoto, Executive Vice President for Education

Two weeks have passed since the course began on May 4, with lectures being conducted remotely mainly using Zoom.
The following are some helpful references regarding the online lectures.

1. Basic Guidelines

All students are asked to read the following web page that contains information regarding online lectures using Zoom:
http://www.itpro.titech.ac.jp/video/lecture.html#english
(The document “How to Take Classes by ZOOM - Tokyo Tech Version Manual”)

The web page “Zoom Remote Class Guide” for faculty members might be also helpful:
https://www.citl.titech.ac.jp/en/resource/zoom-remote-class/

2. Stream or Download Lectures

Most teachers record their livestreamed online lectures. If you miss any livestreamed lectures due to sudden internet failure or need to go back and re-watch certain parts for a better understanding, please ask your teacher directly for the URL from which you can stream the recorded video.

*If your internet connection is too weak to stream videos, ask your teacher for the video file and download it.
*To do so, you must first send your teacher the completed “Pledge regarding the Download and Use of Recorded Lectures” form, which you can find at the bottom of the abovementioned link, “How to Take Classes by ZOOM - Tokyo Tech Version Manual”.

Please send us your questions regarding Zoom, along with your name and student ID number, to the email address: zoomclass@jim.titech.ac.jp
