Call for Emergency Cash Grants to Students for Continuing Studies by MEXT(First notice: Application period and Preparation of Submitted Documents)

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology （MEXT) has established a project for Emergency Cash Grants to Students for Continuing Studies.

Due to the spread of COVID-19 and the significant decrease in household income and part-time job income, the economic impact on students has been greatly affected. Through this project we provide cash so that students who have difficulty will not have to give up their studies.

We are currently in the process of preparing an English version of the application form. Please allow a bit of time for this. We will inform you as soon as it is ready.

1. Application period

May 29th (Friday) to June 12th (Friday), 2020

* The web application must be completed and necessary documents must be submitted
* The web application form will be available until 23:59 on Wednesday, June 10.
* Required documents must be received by Friday, June 12th.
