Tokyo Tech's "Gurunavi" Endowed Chair in Future Food will hold the 3rd International Symposium on Food Halalness "Return to the Basics of Halal — Halal as Religious Practices and Muslim-Friendly Services in Japan — ".

In this Symposium, by going back to the basics of Halal to understand how Muslim people would feel relieved when eating Halal foods, we will discuss how Japanese service industries, including hotels, restaurants, caterings and travel agencies, can meet the needs of Muslims appropriately.
