Applications during the suspension of "Procedures of Study Abroad and Other Overseas Travel" on T2APPs

T2APPs will be renewed under the environment of Institute of Science Tokyo in accordance with the integration.
The "Procedures for Study Abroad and Other Overseas Travel" using T2APPs will be unavailable from Friday, September 13, and will resume operation in mid-October. If you are planning to travel abroad for study or travel during the summer or autumn, please avoid the T2APPs suspension period and submit your application.
If you have no choice but to apply during the suspension period, Please check the documents you need to submit in the Travel Type Finder and follow the procedure as follows.
Overseas Travel Notice
Period of Suspension: September 13 - until the new APPs are operational
Submit T2FORM (to be published after September 13)
Request to Study Abroad
Period of Suspension: September 13 - until the new APPs are operational
If you need to submit the request before the suspension period, please check with your faculty/course office to find out whether you should apply with T2APPs or with a paper application form.
Submission
Complete submission of the required documents to the following faculty member.
・First-year undergraduate students: submit to the head of first-year studies
・2nd-4th year undergraduate students: submit to the head of department
・Graduate students: submit to academic supervisor

Fill in the forms and submit them to the relevant faculty member.

- ・Intended Field of Study form (Undergraduate, Graduate)

Other documents to be attached to the Application for Study Abroad

・Letter of Acceptance

(Student’s name, Period of Acceptance and Name of host institution must be included.)

・Statement of Reason (If the period of study is more than one year, student is required to submit this document.)

・Written Statement of Reason (If the period of study is more than one year, student’s academic supervisor is required to submit this document.)
Departure Notice
Period of Suspension: August 31~until the new APPs are operational
Confirm with the program administrator whether a departure notice is required or not, then submit the following form (Excel format).
Study Abroad Report
Period of Suspension: August 31~until the new APPs are operational
Wait submission until the new system is up and running
