Tokyo Tech is a member of the National Museum of Nature and Science University Partnerships, Campus Members of the Tokyo National Museum Program, and Campus Members of the National Museum of Art. Membership benefits are available to Tokyo Tech students through these programs.

Partnership with the National Museum of Nature and Science

The program provides various projects in partnership with universities aiming to improve the scientific literacy and communication skills of students.
Students of the partner universities can visit a permanent exhibition at the National Museum of Nature and Science (Ueno Park , Taito-ku, Tokyo) for free and special exhibitions with a 630-yen discount. Free admission is also available to the Institute for Nature Study (Minato-ku, Tokyo) and Tsukuba Botanical Garden (Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture). In addition, students can participate in various programs, such as the Science Communicator Training Practicum Course and "Natural History of the Japanese Islands" of the Natural History Course at a discounted rate.

Campus Member Program by Tokyo National Museum

The program is available to member universities aiming to promote the understanding of Japanese culture and cultural properties.
Students of the member universities are eligible for free admission to regular exhibitions. Students can also join members-only seminars such as museum seminars and museum studies courses. In addition, Tokyo National Museum facilities are available at discounted rates.

Campus Member Program by the National Museum of Art

The program provides members with more opportunities to use art museums more effectively in their daily lives, see the actual artwork, and become more familiar with art so that members can acquire cultural skills and sensitivity. Students of the member universities are eligible for free admission to collections of the National Museum of Art, Tokyo (Chiyoda-ku), the National Museum of Western Art (Taito-ku), the National Art Center, Tokyo (Minato-ku), the National Film Archive (Chuo-ku), and the National Crafts Museum (Kanazawa, Ishikawa), as well as discounts at group rates for special exhibitions any time during the valid period.
*There is no permanent exhibition at the National Art Center, Tokyo (Minato-ku).
