About Top Global University Project

The Tokyo Tech project, Enhancing Tokyo Tech Education and Research Quality through Administrative Reforms for Internationalization, was selected as a Top Global University Project (Type A) by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). The Top Global University Project aims to enhance Japan's research and educational competitiveness in higher education by supporting university reforms which promote internationalization and cooperation with top overseas universities.

Education and Research Activities of Tokyo Tech and World's Top Universities

In response to the globalization of the economy, people and information flows, universities around the world have been working to enhance their global competitiveness. In line with our long-term goal of becoming the world's best sci-tech university, Tokyo Tech will revitalize its educational system to further promote internationalization. Faculty and staff will work swiftly and in solidarity to implement administrative reforms toward achieving this goal.

Tokyo Tech will hold a symposium to introduce our on-going and future activities along with those of the world's top universities. We welcome participation from a variety of sectors such as industry, government and higher education.
