The International Office has information about study abroad programs and scholarships for current students and graduates of Tokyo Institute of Technology. Program details and application guidelines can be found on the program websites listed below.

Renault Foundation Program

Renault Foundation Program for Academic Year 2014
Overview

Applications will be accepted from students and graduates of the Institute interested in any of the following programs:

1.
Renault Foundation MBA in International Management
2.
ParisTech Master's Program in Transport and Sustainable Development (TRADD)
3.
ParisTech Master's Program in Mobility and Electrical Vehicles (MVE)

These programs offer specialized education in French with travel expenses, tuition and scholarship stipends provided by the Renault Foundation. A recommendation from the Institute is required to apply.

Applications for the JASSO Scholarship for the 2014 academic year will be accepted based on the information released by the organization.

Overview

JASSO offers scholarships and tuition support to Japanese students who aim to earn a master's or doctoral degree at a university outside Japan (including double- or multiple-degree programs).
Applications are also accepted from current exchange students enrolled in or preparing to enroll in a degree program as well as graduates of the Institute.

Note: The packet explains how to fill out an application form in detail. Please read it through carefully when preparing your documents.
Application Deadline within the Institute
All applications must be received by 17:00 on Friday, October 29, 2013 except for items 12, 13 and 15 of the “Documents to Include,” which are accepted until the mailing deadline specified by JASSO (17:00 on Monday, November 11, 2013).
▪ A selection interview will be held in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Please make yourself available for the interview.
▪ For applicants who are currently studying abroad, selection will be made on the basis of application screening only.

Yoshida Scholarship Foundation: Scholarship Grants for Japanese Students Registered at Overseas Universities

Long-Term Study Abroad Scholarship Program for Degree-Seeking Students for Academic Year 2014
Overview
This program provides support for Japanese students who want to earn a master's or doctoral degree from an overseas university. Current students at the Institute as well as those who have earned a graduate degree from the Institute and are currently engaged in research at a university or university-affiliated research institution in Japan (including university hospitals and inter-university research institutes) are eligible to apply.
Up to two applicants will be selected by the Institute and recommended to the Yoshida Scholarship Foundation.
