Suspension Period of "Procedures of Study Abroad and Overseas Travel” on T2APPs

T2APPs will be renewed under the environment of Institute of Science Tokyo in accordance with the integration.
The "Procedures for Study Abroad and Other Overseas Travel" using T2APPs will be unavailable from Friday, September 13, and will resume operation in mid-October. If you are planning to go abroad for study or travel during this summer or fall, please submit your application by avoiding the system shutdown period.
Please note that document data will not be transferred from the current T2APPs to the new system.
Deadlines of submission for applications related to your study abroad and other overseas travel
Overseas Travel Notice, Request to Study Abroad, and Departure Notice
●Travel for which a Request to Study Abroad must be submitted (for departures in and before November): Submit an Overseas Travel Notice and a Request to Study Abroad by the deadline set by each department/course so that the Request to Study Abroad can be approved at the representative meeting and faculty council in September.
●Travel for which a Departure Notice must be submitted (for departures in and before October): Submit the Overseas Travel Notice and the Departure Notice by Friday, August 30.
●Travel for which only the Overseas Travel Notice must be submitted (for departures from October): Submit the Overseas Travel Notice form by Thursday, September 12.
●Travel for which these documents can be submitted in October or later: Wait until the new system is up and running (mid-October or later) before submitting the form.
Study Abroad Report
●If your study abroad program ends by August:Submit by Friday, August 30.
●If the study abroad program ends in September or later: Wait until the new system is up and running (mid-October or later) before submitting the form.
Correspondence for applications during the T2APPs suspension period
If you need to submit an application during the suspension period for any reason, please take the following actions. The forms will be available on the relevant pages at a later date.
●Overseas Travel Notice:Send the form to the International Student Exchange Division via T2Form, etc., or submit the designated Excel form to the International Student Exchange Division via Box. (The form and submission method will be announced as soon as they are decided.)
●Request to Study Abroad:Complete the designated Excel form and submit it to your academic advisor.
●Departure Notice:Complete the designated Excel form and submit it to your program administrator.
●Study Abroad Report:Wait until the new system is up and running (mid-October or later) before submitting the form.
