Education
Tokyo Tech students envision a future of unlimited possibilities. They can realize their goals at their own pace by making choices along the way. For example, students can choose a curriculum that allows them to either concentrate on their major or study additional fields. Off-campus activities are also possible. Tokyo Tech recommends students participate in internships and study abroad. The curriculum is designed to allow students to complete the Doctoral Program in a shorter period if they pass the achievement-based assessment. Tokyo Tech cultivates individuals with abilities that enable them to choose their own career path.
Earns a doctoral degree in 8 years. Establishes a venture company by utilizing the findings of Doctoral Thesis Research, becoming a president at the age of 26.
Earns a doctoral degree in 6 years as planned. Goes to MIT as a researcher, aiming to become a faculty member of a university and Nobel Prize laureate.
Earns a doctoral degree in 9 years. By utilizing experiences gained during those years, engages in ICT research at a world-famous semiconductor company, aiming for the top of the industry.
Earns a master's degree in 6 years and is employed by a medical engineering company where internship was done.
Earns a master's degree in 5 years as planned, and is employed by a car manufacturer, engaging in development of electric and fuel cell cars.
Earns a master's degree in 5 years. Goes to study at a laboratory in the University of Cambridge for doctoral program, aiming to return to Japan with a doctorate and be employed by a national research institute or international organization.
