Basic Degree Requirements

Basic degree requirements for the undergraduate, Master's and Doctoral programs at the Tokyo Institute of Technology are explained below.

The enrollment period for the undergraduate program is four years.
Students must earn at least 124 credits (including graduation thesis credits).

The standard enrollment period for the Master's program is two years.
Students must earn at least 30 credits, pass the Master's thesis review and a final examination.

The standard enrollment period for the Doctoral program is three years.
Students must earn at least 24 credits, pass the Doctoral dissertation review and a final examination.
